The ink supplied with these 6/4916 Replacement Pad is environmentally conscious.  The water based ink features no toxic substance, acid, formaldehyde or heavy metals.
The hygroscopic ink self regulates by absorbing the humidity of the surrounding air preventing dry out. This then allows for prolonged usage.
